And as we drink this cup we will not forget.
We know this is Your body broken for us,
You poured your blood out, Lord, with no regret.
Because of this, my Lord, I will remember,
You are the reason that I have come this far,
And I cannot forget because I see now,
What I was, and who I am,
Because of who You are.

I know this is a little late, maybe it never is. I wonder why we only do communion once a week? I think it should be a daily act of obedience because we need to continuely lay down all pretenses that this is about us on a daily basis!!!
